Because of the growing number of professional health care providers interested in reducing high stress levels with a desire to re-connect and strengthen mind, body and spirit, I am offering an eight week didactic, experiential & support, Stress Reduction Course. Many participants have found the methods practiced, as well as the group experience, beneficial  in addressing compassion fatigue and secondary traumatic stress symptoms.

 

Group Sessions

  •  5:30pm-7:30pm
  • Tuesday evening 
  • 8 consecutive weeks
  • Courses focus on research-based, practical and effective methods for the renewal of mind, body and spirit.

Many health care providers, including, psychologists, physicians, dentists, social workers, nurses, medical researchers, program directors, human resource personnel, occupational therapists, chiropractors, office managers, massage therapists, and others have utilized this group course as their own individual stress-reducing resource.  All participants to this date have either developed or enhanced their skills in promoting and maintaining their own health and well-being, as they continue working with the increasing demands within the health care system.

 

Move toward greater clarity, control, balance and peace within the mind and body through scientifically researched stress reduction methods.

 

  • The methods taught can be performed in between patient appointments and sessions and within any busy workday schedule.
  • Participants can also, apply these methods during work breaks, lunch, while interacting with others and while tending to work and family responsibilities.
  • Increase concentration, learning, memory, emotional regulation, physical pain relief, conflict resolution &improve relationships.
  • Develop a deeper awareness and understanding of what occurs within your mind & body and how to work with ongoing stress as it emerges.

8 Week Group Session

  • Wednesday evening 
  • 8 consecutive weeks.

Teens Will Learn How To Reduce Harmful Stress Reactions & Calm The Mind And Body With Cognitive Behavioral Methods. Methods used and their effectiveness have been researched and published in scientific journals.   Methods taught have shown to help with increased concentration, emotional awareness & regulation, conflict resolution, self-esteem & control.

Move toward greater clarity, control, balance and peace within the mind and body through scientifically researched stress reduction methods.

Facilitated by Psychotherapist/Stress Reduction Consultant with 26 years experience. 

  • The methods taught can be done in between classes, before exams, at home and work and anytime you are feeling anxious or stressed.  Participants can also, apply these methods during school breaks, lunch, or while interacting with friends, family members, girl or boy friends, employers, college interviewers.  
  • The use of portable, thermal biofeedback machines are also available for participants.
